Vertical Green Wall
The HyGro™Wall structure is made up of different layers of material, combined with varieties of plants selected based on site conditions to make up the ideal vertical green wall for your location. Through our years in the industry, we’ve mastered and streamlined the installation process, ensuring that our vertical green walls are all easy to install no matter the type of surface – from bricks to concrete, wood to metal and everything in between. The HyGro™Wall can be installed in both outdoor and indoor settings with a fully automated irrigation and fertigation system, keeping maintenance at a minimum. Through our thoughtful and strategic planning process, in-depth knowledge, research on plant species and design creativity, we are able to create an intriguing green canvas of biodiversity. Enhance your space today and create a stunning visual master with a vertical green wall from Vertical Green Malaysia.
Benefits of HyGro™Wall
Edible Wall
Growing herbs and vegetable is made possible with our lights that mimic the sun & the felt system for unlimited root growth. Having integrated auto-irrigation & fertigation system to keep the edibles hydrated and fertilised, means that there will be minimal maintenance required.
Our herbs and vegetables are propagated straight from the seed by our local farmers, grown in our organic substrate to ensure that the edibles are fully stabilised & pesticide-free. The edibles grown vertically in the soil-free substrate makes pest attack a rare encounter!
Why a Green Wall?
Besides being at the cutting edge of design trend, the presence of a vertical garden can also be felt with the increase of urbanization and industrialization in our space today with benefits such as:
- Provide heat insulation–Having a vertical green wall is one of the latest trends in Malaysia and for good reason. It has been found to be a good heat insulator and keeps buildings warm in the winter and cool in the summer.
- Energy saving–Studies have shown that having a green wall can significantly reduce the temperature within a building. A green wall has been shown to be up to 10 degrees Celsius cooler than an exposed wall due to the absorption of solar radiation as well as the slowing of air movement. This can greatly help save on your electricity costs and conserve resources.
- Improve aesthetic–It’s easy to see why vertical green walls have gained popularity in Malaysia. They instantly catch your eye and can impress even your most discriminating guest. Vertical green walls can also be used to cover up unsightly features such as brick walls or graffiti or can add a touch of life to an otherwise highly urbanised landscape.
- Provide acoustic insulation–Leaves have been found to reflect and absorb sound energy. The larger and wider your green wall is, the more noise will be absorbed. Green walls not only absorb noise from the outside but can also reduce the noise coming from the surrounding areas as well such as echoes from conversations and footsteps.

- Reduce greenhouse effect–Plants act like carbon sponges because they absorb greenhouse gases from the air and store it in their tissues to use in photosynthesis. The more air they absorb from the air, the more oxygen they get to produce in return. With more and more plants in your vertical garden, the less harmful greenhouse gases there will be in your vicinity.
- Improve air quality – The microbes in plant roots have been linked to air purification qualities. Plants absorb the chemicals found in the air and convert them as nutrients through photosynthesis. Another way an indoor green wall can help improve air quality is by actively circulating the air around us through the process of photosynthesis.
